Itinerary

Morning time, you’ll be met by our Egyptologist tour guide, who will join you in one of the marvelous tours in Aswan, where we are going to visit one of the master and well-known temples in the ancient Egyptian history. The city of Abu Simbel is around 288 KM, takes approximately three hours by car.

In the city of Abu Simbel, we will visit the two temples of Ramses II and his royal wife, queen Nefertari. These two temples with their impressive and unique style are considered to be one of the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They represent one of the grandest & beautiful temples in Egypt. They also reflect the glory and grandeur of the ancient Pharaonic civilization.

Quoting the ancient Egyptians' beliefs, the Temple of Ramses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramses II. The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one.
